the solar modules made of polycrystalline silicon are known as polycrystalline solar modules. they were first introduced in the market back in 1981, and have gone through multiple upgrades ever since. Polycrystalline solar modules have lower heat tolerance as compared to monocrystalline solar modules. However, this fact doesn’t affect their overall performance in the long term.
