A solar charge controller is a current or voltage regulator which ensures that batteries don’t get overcharged. To keep them safe and control the overcharging, it regulates the current coming to batteries from the solar panels. In the long run, solar charge controllers not only save energy but also extend battery life, thereby saving a huge chunk of money without any manual effort from your side. Two major solar charge controllers are PWM = Ajay Sompact, Ajay Professional, and MPPT Ajay MPPT.
